The Deco Pop gate has 2 mounting options: screw mounting or pressure fit. Screw mounting is extra-safe as the gate is directly attached to the wall. It’s ideal for blocking off stairways for example, because as they grow up, your child will start to push or lean on the gate. Screw mounting the Deco Pop gate also makes it very practical for everyday use: with its safety handle, it can be opened with one hand, in either direction. If it’s for occasional use at the grandparents’ or to prevent access to the kitchen, for example, the pressure-fit option is best for the Deco Pop. A door frame or solid rail is required to hold it in place – no need to drill into the wall! The Deco Pop gate is completely removable, and you can remove it using the safety handle to go through.
